Drywall Part II
After some serious debate, we decided on texture for the walls and ceiling independently (eg. Andrea decided the ceiling, Deder decided on the walls). Luckily, we love what we came out with. the ceiling is a light trowel knockdown and the walls were a light "California" orange peel knockdown. The ceiling give the sense of shapes but is smooth; the walls are textured but without too much depth. sometime you just get lucky i guess.
Andrea gets the credit for the gutsy call of Glossy ceiling paint, it really shines.
Check out our sweet lights too.
Deder spent a day with a rented paint sprayer and got 2 more coats of primer on everything, and we mean EVERYTHING. He only lost a few braincells in the process.
