get ready!
A few odds and ends: As part of the final prep for drywallers (!!!) we had lots of odds and ends to clean up, getting most of the crap cleaned out was a large part of it but a few smaller things still had to be done.
First of all, the power for upstairs was still only temp-ed in, so we pulled new wire through the walls to the breaker and joined it in the attic of the addition where the breaker lives.
The main septic sewer used to run right through a closet downstairs which was -- to say the least--kinda gross. We had already moved the closet door frame so that the stack could be framed in and insulated, we just had to lay up some studs for the drywall to hang on. This should make for a less unpleasant dressing experience.
Other small jobs: finally wiring the stair light to work from downstairs too and adding the transformer for the door bell (that'll be nice, one day).
